Elizabeth Godfrey murdered Richard Prince.

At the time Elizabeth Godfrey and Richard Prince were living in a house of ill repute in Marylebone, Elizabeth Godfrey having moved in on 21 December 1806, and whilst there they had a row which involved Richard Prince calling for a night watchman to arrest her but she was soon set free. Later she wanted to exact revenge and so went to knock on his door on 25 December and when he answered she stabbed him in the eye with a knife. He pulled the knife out and went to hospital but later died on 18 January 1807.

At her execution 27 people died in the crowds as they were crushed and trample on in the excitment. There were an estimated 40 thousand people outside Newgate jail to watch her and 3 other murderers executions.
